When redesigning the homepage on our Web site, one aspect we strived to maintain was its functionality. Our site has always been less cluttered and easier to navigate than that of other journals and we believe the new design retains these benefits. The new homepage and re-designed Editorial Board and Podcast pages will be immediately available with the posting of the January issue of AJNR next week and we are planning to refine the look of our Fellows’ Portal and other interior pages in the coming months.
Our electronic exclusives, especially the Case Collection (Case of the Week, Classic Case, and the Case of the Month), continue to be incredibly popular and will be more prominently displayed now. We hope to soon be re-designing these case presentations and creating an App that will let you view them without having to go through AJNR’s Web site.
Original articles will continue to appear in our Publication Preview section 3–6 months in advance of print. All of the site enhancements we’ve invested in over the past few years have boosted our overall Web traffic from 5.8 million (2006) to 8.6 million hits (2012).
